Metolius Freerider Climbing Pack

The Freerider is the perfect pack for a day at the crag. It is built with a lighter version of our Durathane haul bag material. The fabric is double-sided with a bright yellow interior for easy visibility when digging around in your pack. The haul bag-style rand adds durability and allows the bag to stand up for easy access to your gear, while the tapered shape facilitates easy loading. The top-lid pocket is accessible from both the inside and outside the pack and includes a handy D-ring for attaching important items like car keys. The closure system employs an unbreakable aluminum buckle and the flap forms a tuck-away pocket for convenient guidebook storage. There is also an additional compression strap for attaching extra cargo such as a rope or clothing. The Freerider’s plush suspension makes long approaches with large rack more bearable. Freerider volume is 2500 cubic inches, or 41 liters.
